Client had just returned from a trip to Cambodia and wanted a Naga tattoo. Naga is the Sanskrit word for a deity or class of entity or being, taking the form of a very large snake, found in Hinduism and Buddhism.

Another client with a great tattoo idea. In Thailand many Thais wear amulets which contain small ‘coins’ or ’stones’ depicting Buddha or Buddhist related monks and images.Someone can wear 1, 3 or 9 amulets and only in that combination. Chains are especially designed to hold the correct amount of amulets, this dutch client had the idea to tattoo some amulets and a chain around his neck, he used the word “mum” in the middle amulet and two other symbols not Buddhist, in the other amulets. There are several reasons why we did not use real amulets or indeed an image of Buddha.
